Super Eagles defender Shehu Abdullahi has explained the kind of approach they are expecting from the Black Stars in Tuesday’s second leg clash in Abuja.
Abdullahi was an unused substitute in the first leg of the 2022 World Cup qualifying playoffs in Kumasi on Friday.
And looking ahead to the important reverse fixture, Abdullahi stated he expect the Black Stars to be physical as usual.

He however expressed confidence that the Eagles will be ready for them.
“It is always a physical game between Nigeria and Ghana, we expected that from them, it is normal and when they come here it will be the same and we are ready for them.”
On the crucial game on Tuesday, the 2018 World Cup star said the Super Eagles players are aware of the expectations of Nigerians and will do everything possible to make them happy.
“Nigerians expect a win and we the players know that so we are working hard to see how we can win the game for them.”
The winner on Tuesday will qualify for this year’s World Cup holding in Qatar.
The Black Stars will be hoping to put aside the disappointment of not qualifying for the 2018 edition in Russia.
And for the Eagles, they will be targeting a seventh World Cup appearance.

Oh yeah! It’s always a physical game between the two neighbours and as it is often said, the quality of a team’s starting 11 must not be far removed from the substitutes if any team hopes to win a major tournament. Despite the draw, the Super Eagles overwhelmingly proved on Friday that they are in tandem with this unwritten rule. More efforts are needed to seal victory on Tuesday. Go SE, God bless Nigerians.

I spy on the Ghana team before the 1st leg . And wat dey did practicing is wat they did on match day . People that are benefiting always from eagles qualifications to competition don’t do wat we do . All wat dey do is to enjoy the dollars going abroad. Dey already planned for the maduka in goal . If not maybe all those long ball would have been in the net.
Wat dey did is to play long ball over the middle field . Then around the box they wait for mother luck to fire to an angle long range shot.
The second leg wil take same form as eagles wil attack and attack they wil still loop the ball over the middle circle .
And in case eagles get tired out this is counter attack loading. just the way CAR scored . Ghana is not CAR . They wil take advantage of any holes to score.
