Nigeria forward Odion Ighalo has set his sights on winning a first major silverware with Shanghai Shenhua, Completesports.com reports.
Shangahi Shenhua ended their league campaign on a disappointing note following a 3-0 away defeat to Guangzhou Evergrande on Sunday.
Shanghai Shenhua finished in distant 13th position on 30 points, in the 16-team Chinese Super League.
Choi Kang-Hee’s men will now shift attention to the second leg of their Chinese FA Cup final fixture against Shandong Luneng on Friday.
Shandong Luneng won the first leg 1-0 at home.
“Season done ✅ Cup final next 💙🙏,” reads a tweet on Ighalo’s Twitter handle.
Ighalo scored 10 goals in 17 league appearances in the just concluded season for Shangahi Shenhua.
