Eibar will face a battle to keep star midfielder Joan Jordan in the summer with several clubs believed to be interested in signing him. The 24-year-old, who moved to the Primera Liga outfit from Espanyol in 2017, has scored three goals and provided four assists in 27 league outings so far this term.

Joan’s form has alerted numerous clubs, including Sevilla, Valencia and Premier League side Arsenal, who reportedly view him as an ideal replacement for Juventus-bound Aaron Ramsey. Espanyol have also been linked with a move to take Jordan back to the RCDE Stadium after they inserted a 20 per cent sell-on clause in his contract at Eibar, which expires in summer 2020.
It’s also claimed that there is a 15 million euros release clause in his Eibar deal, which would make it difficult for the Basque club to keep hold of him should others come calling in the transfer window.
