Former Libya international Moatasem Al-Musrati has accused the European media of painting a wrong picture of the Super Eagles maltreatment saga at the Al Abraq airport on Monday.
In a post on his official facebook page, the Besitas star noted that European media failed to balance their report by including the way Nigeria also maltreated Libya in the previous game at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium.
He stated that Libyan players were held hostage for hours in the Airport for no reason before been thrown in malfunctioning busses.

“This evening, some European media have been falsely reporting the suffering of of Nigerian players after they were badly treated in Libya when they came to play the second Leg game here against the Libyan national football team,” Al-Musrati said on Monday.
“This game counts as the fourth round match for the qualifiers of the next African Nations cup.
“The full truth of what happened is that this is a normal and logical result according to what had happened to the Libyan National team when they went to play the first leg match in Nigeria.
“Libyan players were held for hours in the Airport for no reason then were thrown in malfunctioning busses.
“They were driven in those buses for three hours to arrive in an area with high military tension.”

Lies upon lies so the SE would have been thrown into military base in retaliation of these false testaments that Nigeria did in the first leg. Thank God they weren’t stupid to remain in Libya.

This is man is a wicked lier who said they didn’t maltreat Super Eagles convoy, prove us why Libyans authorities ordered Tunisian pilot who was leading valuejet to divert the jet to land on Al- abraq airport than to land on Benighazi airport they have been stranded at the airport hall for 15 hours without food, water, internet access with closed the airports doors that means they were hostages; he said Nigerian authorities also have maltreated Libyans delegation when they came to play SE last friday in Uyo, he said they orderd to land on Port Harcourt than to land on Uyo airport , but I think this strategy from libyans delegations of cheating and making ordeal in order to harass Nigerian athourities then to case them with making ordeal against them. We recommend CAF to ban thoes wicked Libyans from playing international games or at least ban them from playing their games at their home, they have already done this wicked and dirty antics against Cameroon…
Libya is Muslim country and they will normally show the true fruits of islam
