Arsenal are reportedly contemplating allowing Lucas Torreira to leave for AC Milan this summer. Uruguay international Torreira arrived at the Emirates last summer from Sampdoria for a reported £25million and was a prominent first-team member during his debut season, making 34 Premier League appearances and scoring two goals.

Despite being a favourite of Unai Emery’s, the Spanish tactician is said to be considering allowing the midfielder to leave in order to boost his transfer kitty for the current window.
With a reported budget of just £50million being offered to the manager, the former Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain boss may look to sell the 23-year-old, who is valued at around £50m. It is claimed Serie A outfit AC Milan, who finished fourth in Italy’s top flight last season, are keen on signing Torreira and would be prepared to offer somewhere close to what Arsenal want.
