Watford manager Claudio Ranieri is banking on Emmanuel Dennis to make a big impact in Sunday’s Premier League clash against Arsenal, reports Completesports.com.
Dennis missed last weekend’s 1-0 home defeat to Southampton due to suspension but is now available to face the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium.
“[Dennis] is a very talented player,” Ranieri told the club’s official website

The 23-year-old has scored three goals in nine league appearances for the Hornets this season.

Gernot Rohr not inviting Dennis Is Criminal!!
Dennis and others certainly will get their chance if they continue to impress in Europe.
Right now the coach is sticking with players who are proven.
Tried and tested because it would be a huge gamble for the gaffer to invite young and promising untested players in a qualification game that a point dropped could be costly.
It makes sense to get the job done first because if he fails with the likes of Dennis,Awoniyi and co the same fans clamouring for this players invitation will turn against the coach for using inexperienced youngsters and call for his sack.
I do know how quickly humans can change.
Bros please rest with that outdated and try to understand that In modern football today it’s not easy to find Key players the likes we have performing at the biggest stage and collecting mam of the Match performances along the way. Thats is the same reason it took us this long to get such a talented generation. Because the same calibre players are not produced every generation. Hence the class of Cote Voire today is not the same as Yaya and Droba class. Again bro even on a normal level quality aside. A player performing in high level leagues in today’s ball is alot faster and sharper. Hence every country In the world except Nigeria makes players in the big 5 leagues a priority so rest with that Niaja mentality and at least if you are to search for experienced legs do so with the ones that a re still applying themselves at the highest level I.e Victor Moses. Club form and national team form are different, these Dennis and Awoniyi are good players in their right but remember recently they both failed to qualify Nigeria to Olympics That people had to be blaming Rohr for not releasing Oshimen for that match, are you sure if you are in Rohr’s shoe you would have place your hope on such players, even recently Taiwo failed to score an open goal created for him by Osihmen.
Did you know the effect the failure of Nigeria not qualifying for Olympics has on national team development?, These guys need time to gel with the team.
Everyone thought Messi was going to destroy french league as soon as he goes to Psg, but it’s not going as planned at least for now. Awoniyi and Dennis are future players for Nigeria no doubt about that, they may even gatecrash world cup team where they will have like more than two weeks to train with the rest of the team. Germany had to recall muller, Spain had to recall Busquet in recent matches after they have been left out because of their experiences.

Fans have expressed their differences in a heated debate over choices of players invited for this all important qualification games.For me there’s nothing else to say I haven’t in the past,going on and on again is more like repeating myself.
However,I do strongly believe in my views and very optimistic the target set for this team will be met.
My analysis is based on assumptions from the gaffers point of view how and the reasons that led to the players he picked for the games.
It’s not hard to deduce.Besides the likes of Dennis,Awoniyi and the rest are part of the super eagles and shall get their chance as long as they keep churning out good performances in Europe.

My brother God bless you, i don’t know why anyone will rate a player like Dennis as untested, this guy represented FC Brugge of Belgium in both Champions/Europa leagues consecutively over four seasons, very few players in the Super Eagles of today have played at the Europe’s biggest stage as Dennis. Where else can any footballer be tested than the champions/europa leagues. Dennis is better than 90% of all the attackers and midfielders in our National team, if i mzy ask what does Moses Simon and Musa play in that team that Dennis cannot play better. Peter Olayinks is another player that has a lot of Champions/Europa leagues experience but always overlooked just like he does Awoniyi a player that is shaking bundesliga as one of the highest goal scorers, he did the same thing last season before he got injured and yet Rohr cotinue to overlook him, he only allowed Awoniyi to join the team last time to replace Moffi who got injured and this is why the team is not improving, the coach is holding on to too many average players and blocking up coming talents that can change the fortunes of the super eagles around. Rohr is not only bereft of ideas about what to do with the team , he is also corrupt and that is why some players will continue to maintain their shirt in the team even when they are clubless or on the bench in their clubsides.
You will hear words like…….”he should keep working hard his chance will come”…….”He is not Rhor trusted soldier”……..”He must be consistent to make the team”……”he is not tested and trusted in the national team”……….All this excuses just to keep the real talented players away from the team…… Germany has given Adeyemi 2 senior caps within a space of 4 months and they did not give all this our silly excuses…….Musiala is already a main player in Germany and he made his debut just this year and he made his debut inside a very difficult period for German football……..If Adeyemi and Musiala had played for SE we would have still been telling them to wait for their time, keeping them on the bench or out of the team and at the same time Fielding low profile players all in the name of “he is Rhor’s trusted soldier”……. Football is all about risk and exposure……if you don’t give this young talents a chance then how will they get experience?……smh

As long as Oga Rohr still in charge of the Eagles, our best players have no chance in that team. That coach is a business man who has nothing to prove to us no more.

Musa is the only leader we have in the team right now and actively playing, so difficult to exclude him.
What you guys don’t understand is that a team leader doesn’t have to be the current best in a team but one with a proven track record, long experience and one that command respect amongst his team mates. Do you guys see how Troost Ekong will rush to the touch line to hand Musa the Captainship band each time Musa is subbed in? That’s RESPECT in the pure form, it is earned and not just delegated.
Same reason Rohr was looking for in Ighalo, the only other guy that command much respect in the team, strong personality with experience, proven track record and a born leader. The younger strikers will surely learn a lot playing alongside Ighalo.
It’s not a fluke for a black African striker to be bought by Man U at the twilight of his career and still managed to score 5 goals with limited appearance. Let’s give respect where it’s due guys
