Your coach that coached Super Eagles for almost seven years with no single trophy to show.

May I never see my back without using a mirror!

So, after Odegbami and many Super Eagles stakeholders condemned Jose Peseiro for playing 5 defenders and a very thin midfield, Eguavoen too has elected to err on the side of defensive caution!! Hahaha!

Eguavoen wants this job full time o! He is taking no chances having seen how a more attacking minded Finidi George was, humbled, put down and a peg or two and put in his place by Gernot Rohr.

Nice one Eguavoen. This shows me that you have learnt a lot from your failure, Peseiro’s success and Finidi’s failure to elect for a cautious 5-4-1 formation (when the team is defending) and 3-4-3 rendition in attack.

Now, when it comes to style of play, will Eguavoen be defensive, balanced or attacking?

Let’s see how it plays out.

Thank you for letting us witness today God.

However, hmmm. Fellow Nigerians, there’s nothing to panic about.

The players themselves have a very strong message to pass to themselves and Africans.

Point no1, Eguavoen need to redeem his image. Eguavoen has to prove that our own is capable of managing the Super Eagles and the new has come.

Point no2, Eguavoen vs Oga Rohr. Tactics-wise, who is superior? Let’s wait and see.

Point no3, I omo9ja, I want to prove to Oga Rohr, his team and his followers that
The former Super Eagles gaffer was hiding behind our star-studded players during his time with the Super Eagles.

I appreciate his efforts because he did his very best to beat the top team in Africa. The likes of Cameroon wotowoto 4-0, Algeria, Zambia and Argentina, I was so impressed with the gaffer back then.

But when he started failing, the Super Eagles were struggling to beat the minors in Africa.

On the world stage, he looked lost, and he was nowhere to be found. This is why I have decided to call a spade a spade kę.

Now, I just want to enjoy the game of football from both gaffers.

All the best Super Eagles. The site to watch the match is, “Koora TV”. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

Here we are, back again to this nasty site and it’s brainless toxic and clueless members (mostly sha) and zombie moot poits and comments lool.
Anyway, we’re only here for the football.
And speaking of that, the starting 11 looks okay, without trying to be too pedantic or anal about things – it seems as if Eguavoen might have picked up a few lessons and is trying to avoid the obvious pitfalls from the last regimes(s), he also seems to be putting up a stern case for possibly retaining the position – Personally, I couldn’t care less who retains a job as long as the team starts winning and if they can continue winning ie, every game from here on out, then who knows where it could take the team?

      Hahahahaha….

Do oga Rohr and Peisero were very right with their defensive approach to any match…..

Our attacking and self-expressing coach has just copied the white Coach.
      Hahahahaha….

We need to swallow our pride some times and face the reality…..

Our today super eagles doesn’t have the likes of Sunday OLISE, JJ OKOCHA, AMOKACHI, FINIDI,taribo West okechukwu uche that can overwhelm any play and make the pitch theirs…..

Rohr, time without numbers did admonished our ex that our new super eagles squad haven’t arrive yet…. but they thought the innocent man was clueless…..

Peisero repeated the same formation and Nigeria were a team to beat…..

Well, I’m happy that our technical director and our ex have finally swallowed their pride and decide to go for purposeful football, I pray he succeed against the master of this formation….. hahahahaha….

Rohr have mercy on us please…..

Don’t disgrace our ex the second time….
      Thanks….

      3-4-3…..
      OPERATION PARK THE BUS.

      HAHAHAHAHA…..

      OMO9JA …..

      HOW FAR…..

YOUR “MR NO NONSENSE” IS AT WORK…..

@deo and those supporting this 3 man defence with 2 midfielders, I already said there is going to be a problem because Eguavoen has opted to play straight from defence to attack, bypassing the midfield. All the pack the bus coaches it got us nothing. How do you think it will succeed with Eguavoen.
The super eagles have done exactly what I expected, playing straight from defence to attack. Were it not for the individual brilliance of Lookman, we would still have been talking of a scoreless first half.
Which team have won competitions with this 3 man defence approach. Even their apostle is currently in Turkey trying to find his way out of the woods with this pack the bus approach.

I have continued to say that with the current defenders we have in the team, a three man defence is the way out if we don’t want to expose them.

Ekong, Ajayi and bassey are very vulnerable if we play a two man central defence.

The way out is for us to bring in players like ogbu, Osho, tourinaya etc into the team.

If ekong, bassey and Ajayi can have another central defender that is solid to cover up for him he will do well in a two man defence.

That was what bassey enjoyed st fullhsm last season with adarbioyo.

Findi was clueless because he should have understood this since he had been part of the team. But because he doesn’t really have that intelligence to handle the team, he faltered.

But really, Mr no nonsense total football 94 squad 442 wingplay advocate is starting a match with 5 defenders……against who……????

      Pẹ̀lẹ́ ó Eguavoen.

Win or lose, by this sole act from the technical director and trainer of coaches in Nigeria, Rohr has finally earned the respect he so much deserves..!!! I don’t care what the full time results say…LMAOoo

This is the frustrating thing about the SE’s of late – score score in a game where it is obvious they are the better team and have the upper hand, dem no go gree at all at all, but wait now, and the poorer team will get one chance and puff a goal and then from there their heads will drop and they are then on their way to loose the bludclat game, I mean how incredibly annoying is that? Ehn? Should they not be 2 maybe 3 goals up already in this game??
      At last GOAAAL!

Nigeria really needs some1 to really compete with Chukwueze for dat wing, simon or nacho can’t play dat role. Simon and Lookman plays same role albeit, if i were a coach, i would give Lookman a free role to pop up anywhere he likes kinda like Mbappe. Lookman is electric, dat guy too sabi, even when he is selfish, u can see he is trying to make something happen. All in all, d SE have played relatively well. Benin as with other so called small teams, are not minnows ooo, under rate dem at ur peril. Do anyhow u go collect for dia hand. Pipo saying “we go trash thi team or dat team” dey live for fool’s paradize, These days if u win a so called small team, then u have tried. Max margin of defeat na by 2 goals.

Well done ojare Lookman, but you guys must do better, you are converting far too few chances (if any at all paa paa) given the plethora of chances being created. Thank God that they have managed to score one at least – now score more or at the very least DO NOT CONCEDE!
ghana lost at home and yeye banana barabas manged to get a draw at last against Uganda on their home soil – lets look alive and win every game from here on out.
Oh and BTW, some things will NEVER change. Iwobi is still useless! How that guy gets a game is completely beyond me I tell you!

Coach Eguavoen should make the following changes now:

        Replace Iwobi with Dele Bashiru;
        Replace Chukwueze with Moses Simon;
Replace Boniface with Osimhen, then later Replace Ndidi with Raphael Onyedika.

We would score another goal and then shut the door against the Stone Beninoise!

Go read my post of yesterday. Assuredly, l said Nigeria will whitewash this reg-tad Beninoise boys. This time, the house was full and not as assembled by that rookie Finito George. They were lucky that Nigeria beat them by 3 to nothing. I know Nigeria could have scored about five goals.
When the house is full as we were today, no team could withstand these Nigeria super eagle boys. Only cheap/poor Finito was not a good coach.
Egauavon has learnt his lesson. Let see what’s happen next week.

Good game with some lessons learnt.
Don’t throw a baby with the bath water.
Do a good analysis without bias and pride as was the case with George Finidi. Bond with key members of your Team like an Elder brother with maturity even in the face of dispute on Team tactics and formation. Eguavoen knows these basics and will do better than the former because Nigeria still has better players compared to most Teams in our groupings for the World cup and Nations cup qualifiers. Let’s encourage peace, Compassion, bonding , and gradual Tactical tweak in our Super Eagles….Forza 9ja Eagles!!!

You all shouting eguavoen played Peseiro tactics, yes in part I agreed and I also disagreed in part, eguavoen team interpreted that tactics way fluently and better, we dominated this match from start to finish bar for the normal expected gragra that comes from team chasing the game, kudos to the coaching crew, kudos to the entire players, love how they celebrated VO goal with him, shows they love him and in peace with one another, next is Tuesday, another 3pts or nothing guys.

Good one from the SuperEagles. Lookman men that guy is running away with the African footballer of the year award. Boniface needs to sit up. He’s yet to impose himself in the team and I don’t think he’s an outright number 9. I like Dele Bashiru drive of the ball. Osimhen is our top striker anyway anytime.

Peseiro’s Cattenattio is now what the doctor ordered and everyone came to the party.  However, we need to scout for more defenders in central defense. Along with another decent ball playing midfielder. Nwabali made two good saves that could’ve swung the game the other way.

We played with more disciplined in a must win game. Kudos to the team and coaching crew for the flexibility in tactics.

Nothing changed the game bro, we were just fortunate to have scored in that match. Benin matched us toe to toe. What am i justifying please, that i mentioned boniface not doing his job. We just like to hype players who when it come to the national team go to sleep. Why would i want them to fail, of what benefit is it to me if they win or lose. Abi dem dey pay you ni.

A lot changed today my brother….LMAOoo

First and foremost, we didn’t have a RB playing LB and a CB playing RB. The most fundamental aspects of coaching which is putting the players in their “natural positions” was the first change today.

2ndly we saw that tactics and formations do matter I football and that there is a formula for winning matches unlike what that dullard called Finidi told us….LMAOoo

3rdly we played a formation that maximized the strenght of our defence first, and then our attack subsequently…..we didn’t just know when to defend and when to attack only….LMAOoo

Lastly we didn’t have 4 homebased players nonsense the team.

Unlike one dullard who allowed himself to be tossed around and dictated to, Eguavoen took ownership and responsibility of and for the team.

He even jettisoned his own table soccer philosophy in order to keep his job.

Boniface did his job to the later…he always dragged the 2 Benin CBs with him, hence creating more room for the wide forwards to strike….unlike one dullard coach that at one time put 3 CFs on the pitch at the same time only for them to be falling over each other in the penalty box.

May Finidi never happen to Nigeria again. Whoever recommended Finidi for employment as SE shall not make heaven

Dumb fool was an assistant coach for 2 years, yet didn’t know how to position players nor what formations that brought out the best in the team. It has taken TD to come and restore the team to Peserio’s default settings that won them afcon silver, jettisoining his how table soccer tactics for fear of failing for the umpteenth time…LMAOoo

This formation suits our team with the calibre of players we have. The difference between this team and Pesairo’s, same players though, is this team dominates unlike the latter.

              Google is your friend.
Go back and check the records. 4231 and 352 were Rohr’s most potent weapons. If one didn’t work in the first half he switched to the other by the 2nd half. Tactical flexibility was one of the hallmarks of his time with the SE.

Victor joined camp late (with permission), and so didn’t start, but everyone knew he was always going to play a part. When we started losing the initiative in the second-half was apt time to change things up and bring in him. It worked like clockwork!!
