Vastly-experienced Nigerian coach, John Obuh, believes AS Roma Academy of Italy exciting winger, Prince Kelechi Nnajiofor possesses great quality to lead the current Flying Eagles squad to glory if called up.
Ex-Nigerian Under-17 World Cup coach, Obuh who worked closely with Prince Kelechi with the former having been the technical director of Roma Academy, Abuja believes the young forward can help Ladan Bosso’s under-20 team achieve greatness.
Bosso was on Tuesday retained as the head coach of the Nigerian national U-20 team, the Flying Eagles with the team set to begin preparations for the West African Football Union (WAFU) U-20 competition in Niger Republic.

Obuh has now tipped Prince Kelechi to lead the Flying Eagles to glory in the WAFU U-20 competition from May 7 to May 20, 2022 with the biennial tournament also serving as the qualification for the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
“Prince Kelechi has exceptional qualities that stand out,” explained Obuh. “He has an understanding of the game as well as good balance and coordination which means that he has exceptional technique with the ball at his feet.
“It’s incredibly difficult to take the ball off him. He is good one on one and has a good shot and precision. He can shoot with both feet even if he is basically right-footed, he can finish with the left as well.
“That makes him very difficult to read for the defenders. Will he go right or left? It makes him difficult to handle. And impressively too, he’s a huge threat at free kicks,” concluded Obuh who had only good things about the 19-year-old attacker.
Meanwhile, Prince Kelechi who has also featured for Prince Kazeem Eletu FC is wanted by Spanish La Liga SmartBank side, CD Leganes, French Ligue 1 club, Amiens SC and another top team from Qatar with the three sides desperately jostling for the signature of the latest Nigerian attacking sensation.

Nigerian coaches are just after pushing their players to earn deals so they can have their share.. after now one ex international will say give obuh super eagles job because he is a local coach.. we hate competence but love color , when we go abroad and they do the same to us we Cry racism.. we are our own problems
What he said about this guy is pure true I know this player and I have play against him last year this guy is so fantastic ….To be sincere with you this guy time has come the whole world will see it and knows his name he is pure born footballer he play like one Belgium player odonko as a winger
But is the said player really good as discribed? If he is, nothing stops him from being invited to compete fairly with other talents. A coach knows his players folks.

We are in serious trouble in Nigeria, our soccer willl continue to hustle backwards with these our ancestors looking old men. Same men are the scouts, they’re the coaches, this’s what breeds nepotism, tribalism, corruption and sentiments.
John Obuh is far better than that Ladan Bosso. I have never seen a more despicable coach like Bosso.
Every national team must have a Northern coach what a shame and they choose the worst of them all. Why not the loquacious Amokachi instead of Salisu Yusuf. Are the SE cursed with Salisu Yusuf? There are better coaches in the North than those two craps. IMHO

Ladan Bossoo is not a good coach , he failed woefully before what has changed or improved in his technical ability that he was handed another job, as for Salisu yusuf he’s a good coach and has proven worthy of his appointment accept being found corrupt. I pray Nigeria football will be liberated from all this criminals in our football house.

And, by the way, even if Messi agrees to join our U20 (Flying Eagles), we will still perform poorly because of Ladan Bosso.

This other Kelechi has a bright future if he is not badly managed like Nwakali, and ends up as an underachiever.
They should find under 20 players from Nigeria and leave that one to enter Roma first team if he truly love Nigeria he would turn up when he’s called to represent Nigeria via super eagles for now those players in Nigeria should be the number priority we have talent in Nigeria let us help this boys to fulfill their dream
