Former Napoli defender Fabiano Santacroce has described Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen as a player with great physical ability.
He made this known on the backdrop of his impressive performance with the senior national team, where he netted a goal in the team’s 2-0 victory over the Central Africa Republic (CAR) in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier on Sunday.
In an interview with TuttoNapoli, Santacroce said that the Nigerian international has the potential to recover balls and create attacking situations when they just don’t exist.
“Osimhen has incredible physical abilities,” the 35-year-old told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, as per TuttoNapoli.
“He manages to recover balls and create attacking situations when they just don’t exist. Other attackers wouldn’t be able to create what he does.”

Danjuma has been called to replace an injured Bergwijn. I guess it’s all over now. Any hopes of inviting him in future is dashed lol.

Nigeria has always been slow starters. I dont know why. Unlike northern and southern African teams. Even down to our youth teams and even our clubs when they play on the continent, we like doing Jelenke Jelenke and later, then midway into the half, up our game and turn on the heat gradually. This same Amaju is not matured enough to understand on how to handle administrative issue eg: going to talk up Tammy and eze to play for Nigeria and quickly started posting pictures he took with the aforementioned players on social media knowing full well the implications it will attract from the English press. He made us loss them to lack of maturity guys!
