Udinese went into the game on the back of a draw in their opening fixture I’m the new campaign.
Lorenzo Lucca gave Udinese the lead in the 5th minute before Florian Thauvin made it 2-0 on 49 minutes.
In the 68th minute Udinese had a player sent off after Hassane Kamara received his second caution of the game.
Lazio pulled a goal back in the 95th minute through Gustav Isaksen but it was only a consolation goal.
In a another Serie A game played on Saturday, Samuel Chukwueze came on in the 86th minuye as AC Milan lost 2-1 away to Parma.
Milan are now winless in two league games with just a point and seat in 16th position on the log.
